Save Energy

Hi Class, check the link to an article about new more expensive and energy-hungry hardwares produced by Microsoft. A survey by IT services company Softchoice claimed Vista is the most power-hungry Windows desktop so far. The report said that Windows XP's minimum CPU requirements were 75 percent greater than those for the operating system it replaced, Windows 2000. But Vista's minimum CPU requirements are 243 percent larger than that of XP.

It is very interesting. Thank you so much, Fatima. What your opinion? should we use Windown Vista?

Thank you Long for you comment, I am with saving energy, however, I wouldn't say that I am %100 sure that the content of this article is true. You may find another article that says exactly the oppiste, so the matter needs more search to determine whether or not use Vista or other programs.
